So I feel like my speech lacked a lot of information on quite a bit, mainly because of the immense amount of detail in which i could have rambled on for many a year, talking about the character development, their personalities and unique traits, how they all sort of each other how they work to balance each-other out.
Because it ties in with my game which I have been planning for months and months and months there is really a fine line in which I tried to stay on the simple side of.... Between talking about information which relates to the game I'm making and relates to the animation I'm doing for the project. That and the pure fact I was nervous made me forget a lot of shit and ramble on :P
Soo if there is anything I missed out on or any information about the game or animation I'm doing that I may or may not have mentioned feel free to ask :) either in person or or email me at kidd.oh@me.com and I'll be happy to let you know what's been going on! :D always happy to see people taking an interest! Haha
Thanks! :D

In Other News!
So i've just bought myself one of these bad boys.
The Intuos 5 Wacom Tablet (Large)
It's a bit of a difference having a gigantic tablet now over the tiny one which i take to tafe everyday, I'm loving it though, much more comfortable to work with and the buttons also make things pretty quick and easy i reckon. Still finding it a little hard to adjust to but i'm getting there :)I'll definitely be able to get a lot more work done, my lazy ass found having to pull out my tablet from my bag and plug it in every day was getting really tedious. Having my tablet just there and ready to go will give me a lot more motivation to do some work now!
(Me doing work? shocker right :P )
going to upload the first bit of work that i do with the new tablet soon! :)
Colour & Progress
I've been working through a couple of different colour schemes for my animation... so far i'm really leaning towards a sort of grey kind of feel, it works really well in the Crysis 2 "The Wall" Trailer.
Crysis 2 Official Trailer: The Wall.
This is just an update on my progress so far with the outside of the building, Not Much has changed except for where there are chunks missing from the building the inside faces are now broken concrete/rock instead of just the brick texture. The picture has been rendered from 3DS max and using the lighting and render settings I've given the environment a greyish cold & dead feel to the area. I think it will just make the characters and other certain aspects like fire stand out a lot better as well!
My Building Exterior.
I've been working more on the interior a little bit now, in the second room i've got some conveyor belts which are going along the back and right hand wall with a couple of crates on them, next step is to get some form of a big machine, some pipes connected to the walls and possibly a few computers and monitors as well, just to show that the place was some form of small factory/ postal service company. When the room is complete I'll post a before and after shot up on the blog to keep everyone up to date on the progress!

Decisions:NEED HELP!
On a Semi-related note to this assignment, I've been having a lot of trouble deciding which Game engine would be best to use for this Massive Multiplayer Online game and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
the choices i'm currently tied between at the moment are
Unity
Unity (also called Unity3D) is a cross-platform game engine with a built-in IDE developed by Unity Technologies. It is used to develop video games for web plugins, desktop platforms, consoles and mobile devices, and is utilized by over one million developers. Unity is primarily used to create mobile and web games, but can also deploy games to consoles or the PC. The game engine was developed in C/C++, and is able to support code written in C# or javascript. It grew from an OS X supported game development tool in 2005 to the multi-platform game engine that it is today.

Unreal Development Kit (UDK)
The Unreal Engine is a game engine developed by Epic Games, first illustrated in the 1998 first-person shooter game Unreal. Although primarily developed for first-person shooters, it has been successfully used in a variety of other genres, including stealth, MMORPGs and other RPGs. With its code written in C++, the Unreal Engine features a high degree of portability and is a tool used by many game developers today.

I've heard a lot of good and bad things about both the engines so i really have no clue what to go with D:
HELP PLEASE!
thanks!

Brief Class Introduction
What I'm going to be trying to achieve from this project is basically a class introduction trailery-kind-of thing really for the game that I am working on.
It's going to give the viewers a brief overview of the different skills and just overall let viewers meet the characters really.
The scenario is there is a building basically which the group are going to try to all get to and each and everyone will have to use their sort of "attributes and abilities" to get to ie. the scout will show off his agility and ability to parkour over obstacles with great ease and speed for example. The building I'm talking about by the way many of you if you've peaked onto my screen in Mondays class with Ryan, I actually have been constructing in 3ds Max. Haha It's a sort of a 2 birds 1 stone scenario I can build this building for both assignments and do the interior for the first assignment! :) win win! :) I hope.. Haha.
As far as a storyboard goes so far, it's all in writing but a much more visually pleasing version of the story board will be released soon! :)
